I'm sick
I'm sick, I hate being sick. My kids bring things home and they feel fine in a day or two, meanwhile I am coughing and stuffy, my chest hurts every time I cough, my nose hurts every time I blow it, I have no energy to do anything and I just want to feel better. There. sniff.

Hi darling. I hate being sick too. I was absolutely and perfectly fine when I came home on Tuesday, and here it is Friday, and I seem to have managed to catch what you have. Virulent and vicious.
And I was even being good. Taking care of you and the kids... swell.
Sigh - I guess it's just my turn.
As I am now feeling better, I guess it's just lucky for you we aren't both sick at the same time, and since I know how you feel I can be extra sympathetic. I'm sorry you caught this bug, it's a doozy.
